JSSTICE is a pioneering training institute established about a quarter century ago by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, the benevolent 24th Pontiff of Suttur Veerasimhasana Mahasansthana Math, Mysuru. Establishment of JSSTICE had been the desire of his predecessor His Holiness Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji. It has been serving brilliant and promising youngsters aspiring to join the senior most civil services (IAS, IPS, IRS, KAS etc.,) of the Union of India and the state of Karnataka. So far it has trained 2,300 candidates, of whom nearly 300 have been successful and are serving the country and the state as officers of IAS, IPS IRS, KAS, etc.

His Holiness Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji has invested money very generously in establishing the JSSTICE, with an excellent infrastructure.

Situated in the centre of the prestigious Jayanagar area of Bengaluru city, JSSTICE boasts of a huge space allotted by His Holiness the Swamiji on the second floor of the JSS educational complex. It is easily accessible from all parts of Bengaluru.

JSSTICE has excellent training infrastructure, beautiful and spacious building, two hostels, a well-stocked library, a computer wing, adequate classrooms, seminar hall, meeting room apart from office space. Its backbone is a band of dedicated faculty members who are in themselves eminent teachers from the leading universities, colleges and institutions in Bengaluru.

JSSTICE offers training for candidates appearing for All India Services and Karnataka Civil Service Examinations in 4 packages. All of these are full-time training programmes. The candidates are selected through Written Test and Individual Interview. Although more than a thousand applications are received every year, the intake is limited to 90 candidates for the All India Services and 90 for the State Civil Services examinations. This is intended to train only serious and promising candidates, intensively and extensively so that the efforts of the Institute will be fruitful.
